IRS PUBLISHES MILEAGE RATES FOR 2010

Beginning January 1, 2010, the standard mileage rates for using a vehicle will be as follows:

• $.50/mile for business purposes
  
• $.165/mile for medical or moving purposes
  
• $.14/mile for charitable purposes

These mileage reimbursement revisions reflect lower transportation costs (such as reduced cost for gasoline), so the new rates are slightly lower than in previous years.
