Dear Clients:

One of the most challenging aspects of owning a small business is being able to cope with change and adapt so that the change doesn’t adversely affect your livelihood.

Effective today, Sherry Myhand will no longer be a shareholder or employee of Godwin & Associates, CPA.  After much deliberation and discussion with her family, Sherry has decided that it is time to scale back her workload to something more manageable, something that cannot be accomplished as a full-time employee and shareholder of the firm.  While she will be missed, we respect her decision and wish her much personal success and happiness.

Godwin & Associates, CPA will function in the same capacity with three full-time employees as it did with four.  If Sherry was your main contact on business and individual tax and/or accounting matters, please feel free to contact me with your questions.  We have decided not to fill Sherry’s post at this time with another full-time employee.  Should the time come when someone else is needed, we will address it and act accordingly.  Pamela Brown, Lauren Stewart and I will look forward to your contact and your questions about this transition, should you wish to contact us.

Please join us in wishing Sherry well as she finishes this part of her life’s journey and moves on to other exciting things.

Best regards,

Jonathan I. Godwin, CPA
President
